What are we looking for?

We're looking for films up to three minutes long, inspired by the Olympic and Paralympic Values of Respect, Excellence, Friendship, Courage, Determination, Inspiration, and Equality as well as our new theme of Truce.

How it works

Check out the latest entries to the film competition in the Watch Entries section. If you like a film you can click 'like' to add your vote for that film. The films with the most 'likes' get considered for nomination for the Film Nation Shorts Awards!

You might already have film that fits in with what we're looking for – in which case head on over to the Upload film page to enter the film competition now.

The next deadline for the film competition is 2 April 2012.

Never made a film before?

If, like most people, you've never made a film join us at a free workshop around the UK, where you'll pick up the skills you need to get started in film making or even make a film on the day.
