We’ve introduced a new theme of Truce to Film Nation shorts.
Our partner, Peace One Day, is calling for a day of ceasefire and non-violence on Peace Day 21 September 2012 - a Global Truce. We hope this will be the largest reduction in global violence in recorded history, both in terms of domestic violence and armed conflict.
The founder of Peace One Day, documentary maker Jeremy Gilley, and Peace One Day Ambassador Jude Law, are Film Nation shorts judges and will be showing some of the best truce themed films on Peace Day, 21st September 2011, at a special gala concert in London.

Jeremy is now making a 4th film about the journey of POD. The film will focus on the institutionalisation of Peace Day around the world and the call for a Global Truce on Peace Day 21 September 2012.
