Workshops

Film Nation: Shorts is coming to a town near you!

Through our UK-wide series of film making workshops, you can learn all the skills you need to generate your own script ideas, get your hands on professional equipment and make your very own film to enter into the short film competition. If you’re aged between 14 and 25, come along to a workshop in your area taking place between now and April 2012. Visit the Competitions page to find out how you can get involved.

Which workshops you can go to will depend on your age – if you’re between 14 and 19 years old, you can come along to filmmaking workshops that will take you right through the whole process, from idea to edit. At the end of the workshop you can enter your film into the short film competition.

If you are between 19 and 25 years old you can check out a series of individual, in-depth workshops and masterclasses covering everything from developing an idea right through to post-production, giving you all the skills you need to make your film.
