Acclaimed director and actor Peter Mullan spoke at length about his successful film career to an audience of 200 people as part of the Celtic Media Festival in Stornoway. 
 
Mullan’s acting credits include Trainspotting, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and War Horse. His directing roster includes the feted Neds and The Magdelene Sisters. 
 
For aspiring filmmakers aged 19-25, Film Nation Shorts is running a series of filmmaking masterclasses with successful directors alongside smaller workshops, which focus on different aspects of film technology.
